Sanitation Worker

Job Requirements for all Meat Unit Positions:

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to lift 100 lbs. on an as-needed basis.
  • Able to work in varied temperature work environment - cooler & freezer exposure.
  • Sufficient English language skills to understand commands and read labels and checklists
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be able to stay until all required work is completed for the shift

 

Sanitation Worker  Job Duties (Start Time approx. 4:00 p.m.)

Clean and sanitize production area in a manner defined by the USDA and OSHA approved guidelines.  Must ensure the room is physically clean and bacteria free.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Problem solving skills

 

Desired Experience:

  • Sanitation or Clean Room experience
  • Able to break down and clean machinery
  • Familiar with HACCP standards

Drivers – Local & Regional Routes

Responsibilities include:

  • Making deliveries to all stops on designated route
  • Provide excellent customer service while making deliveries
  • May have back-haul pick ups (depending on the route)

Qualifications:

  • Class A Commercial Drivers License
  • Ability to meet all DOT requirements
  • Able to lift 70 – 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis
  • Previous delivery experience, preferred.

Regional Drivers typically have a 4 day work week.

Driver Training Program

Do you have the desire to become a CDL driver? Check out our training program.  We are hiring drivers who currently have a Class C license to drive a straight truck while going through our in-house program.  We will teach you everything you need to know to secure a the CDL.

Utility Worker - Meat Production

Responsibilities include:

  • Duties shall include receiving and forwarding merchandise,
  • grinding, making patties, cubing cube steaks,
  • wrapping and filling orders, cleaning equipment,
  • machine operation
  • assistance in general maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 60 – 100 lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Previous experience in production environment, a plus
  • Able to meet deadlines working in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, a plus.
  • Sufficient English language skills to match selection labels with case markings. Find product locations in the warehouse; recognize similarities and differences between words; recognize similarities and differences in sequences of numbers.

Receivers and Truck Unloaders .  (Day Time Hours)

Receivers verify accuracy of product being delivered by various vendors using hand-held technology. Review and correct BOL. Ready product to be put away.

Truck Unloaders unload trucks, build pallets to ready product for put away.
